By using our website, services, and any related applications, you (“User,” “Client,” or “Customer”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. 1. Services Provided

 

DTLA Professional Services, LLC offers accounting, bookkeeping, financial consulting, mobile notary, business formation, and compliance services in the state of California. Our services are intended for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.

 

Limitations of Service:

 

  • •We do not provide legal or tax advisory services. Any tax-related discussions should be confirmed with a licensed CPA or tax attorney.
  • Notary services are provided in compliance with California notary laws and do not include legal advice.
  • Financial coaching services through TruePath Wealth Coaching are for educational purposes only and do not replace professional financial or investment advice.

 

2. Client Responsibilities

 

By engaging with our services, you agree to:

 

  • Provide accurate and truthful information for quotes, service requests, and financial assessments.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to business formation, financial reporting, and notary services.
  • Use our services only for lawful purposes and not engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or illegal activities.

 

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in termination of service.

 

3. Payments & Refund Policy

 

Billing & Payment Processing:

 

  • All payments are securely processed through Stripe.
  • Payment for services must be made before service delivery unless a payment plan is agreed upon.

 

Refunds:

 

  • Due to the nature of our services, all sales are final. Refunds may be considered only in cases where:
  • We are unable to fulfill the agreed-upon service.
  • An overpayment was made.
  • Notary Services: Once a notarization is completed, there are no refunds under California law.

 

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

Appointments & Bookings:

 

  • Accounting & Financial Coaching Sessions: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule without penalty.
  • Notary Appointments: If a notary appointment is canceled within 2 hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee may apply.

 

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service at our discretion if a client fails to meet requirements or engages in unethical behavior.

 

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

 

  • All client data is handled in compliance with our Privacy Policy and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regulations.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Financial and business information shared with us will be kept strictly confidential, except as required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DTLA Professional Services, LLC is not liable for:

 

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
  • Losses due to client misrepresentation, inaccurate financial data, or failure to comply with regulations.
  • Any third-party service failures (e.g., Stripe, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Google services).

 

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.

  • Calendly (Appointment Scheduling)
  • HubSpot (Client Communication & CRM)

We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their privacy practices or terms of service.

 

8. Termination of Services

 

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services without prior notice if:

 

  • A client violates these Terms of Service.
  • Fraudulent, unethical, or illegal activity is detected.
  • Non-payment or repeated cancellations occur.

 

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations incurred prior to termination.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

 

Any disputes related to our services will be resolved through negotiation first. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration under California law.

  • Each party will bear its own arbitration costs.
  • This agreement waives the right to a jury trial.
